Shipping policy

By placing a postal hire order with RNTL STUDIO, you acknowledge and agree to the following Shipping Policy.

1. Shipping Methods

1.1 Australia Post Express Shipping 

1.1.1 All postal hire garments are shipped via Australia Post Express Post.

1.1.2 Standard postage costs begin at $28.00; however, shipping costs may vary depending on the size, weight, and quantity of garments included in the order.

1.1.3 Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

1.2 Dispatch Time Frames

1.2.1 Garments are generally dispatched on Mondays and Tuesdays to maximise the likelihood of delivery prior to weekend events.

1.2.2 Orders placed after scheduled dispatch periods may be shipped at the client’s own risk.

1.2.3 Customers are responsible for placing orders with sufficient time for delivery before their event date.

 

2. Delivery Policy

2.1 Customer Responsibilities

2.1.1 Customers must ensure all shipping details entered at checkout are accurate and complete.

2.1.2 Once an order has been dispatched, RNTL STUDIO is unable to redirect or alter delivery details.

2.1.3 If incorrect shipping details supplied by the customer result in a lost, delayed, or unrecoverable parcel, the customer may be charged replacement costs up to the full Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of the garment.

2.1.4 Replacement costs are separate from the original hire fee paid and do not reduce or offset any hire charges already incurred.

2.2 Lost or Stolen Parcels

2.2.1 If a parcel is marked as delivered by Australia Post but is believed to be lost or stolen, customers must contact RNTL STUDIO immediately.

2.2.2 RNTL STUDIO will assist in lodging investigations with Australia Post where possible.

2.2.3 If Australia Post confirms successful delivery and the parcel cannot be recovered, the customer may remain liable for replacement costs.

 

3. Postal Delays

3.1 Third-Party Delivery Delays

3.1.1 RNTL STUDIO is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or any third-party delivery provider.

3.1.2 Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

3.1.3 Refunds will not be issued where parcels arrive later than expected due to postal delays outside of RNTL STUDIO’s control.

3.2 Store Credit Eligibility for Delayed Deliveries

3.2.1 If tracking confirms the parcel was dispatched by RNTL STUDIO on time, but delivery delays prevent the garment from being worn for the intended event, customers may be eligible for store credit only.

3.2.2 To qualify for store credit:

    • The garment must be returned completely unworn
    • The garment must be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post location within 24 hours of delivery
    • Proof of lodgement must be provided to RNTL STUDIO
    • RNTL STUDIO must be notified immediately upon delivery

3.2.3 “Unworn” refers to garments that have not been worn, used, altered, damaged, or exposed to makeup, perfume, fake tan, or event conditions.

3.2.4 Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3.2.5 Store credit issued for delayed deliveries:

    • Is valid for 12 months
    • Is non-transferable
    • Cannot be redeemed for cash

 

4. Returning Postal Garments 

4.1 Return Requirements 

4.1.1 All garments must be returned using the prepaid mailer provided by RNTL STUDIO unless otherwise advised.

4.1.2 Garments must be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post location by 4:00pm on the final day of the hire period or the following business day where applicable.

4.1.3 Customers must obtain proof of lodgement and send a clear photograph of the receipt to @rntl.studio via Instagram or email via support@rntlstudio.com

4.2 Prohibited Return Methods

4.2.1 Garments must NOT be returned via:

    • Uber or rideshare delivery services
    • Public red or yellow Australia Post street posting boxes

4.2.2 Returning garments using prohibited methods may result in:

    • Late fees
    • Delayed return processing
    • Liability for lost or stolen garments
    • Replacement charges up to the garment’s full RRP

4.3 Late Returns

4.3.1 Failure to return garments within the required timeframe may result in late fees starting from $20 per day.

4.3.2 Continued failure to return garments may result in:

    • Additional late fees
    • Debt recovery action
    • Charging of the garment’s full RRP
    • Cancellation of future bookings

 

5. Refund Policy Relationship

5.1 This Shipping Policy operates in conjunction with the RNTL STUDIO Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions.

5.2 Refunds are not available for:

    • Change of mind
    • Missed promotions
    • Incorrect sizing selections
    • Postal delays outside of RNTL STUDIO’s control

5.3 Eligible refunds are issued as store credit only unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

 

6. Australian Consumer Law

6.1 Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
